Homage to Art Deco
I made this card by accident. I made the black and white strip in the center, then realized it was supposed to be brown and white (fulfilling an order). So I made it into this. I know I love the colors and think I like the card. I definitely fulfills my need to be symmetrical. The white paper has colored flecks in it, but not enough to really show up, so instead it just looks like I sneezed on the scanner glass.

Looking at this from work - what a crappy job I did scanning this! (Not just the sneezing part.) My newest technique is to prop the scanner lid up a tiny bit so the embellishments and dimensional stuff doesn't get squished. But look how the lighting is off! I'll rescan it tonight.

Just a question: Are those eyeballs or olives?
Alright, smartass sister! I didn't want to say that after I made the card, all I could see was two eyeballs staring back at me. I was hoping someone would tell me how artistic it is so I'd get over the eyeballs thing. Now you mention olives?? Olives make me hurl!
They can't all be winners, I guess. :-)
