New Cards
I also fixed the archives links. (Thanks for pointing out to me the fact that they were broken, Ann and Maria.) I honestly didn't think I'd be able to do it, but after 40 or 50 tries I seem to have got the settings right. Next I'll figure out how to link to my old non-blogger.com journal entries. (Thanks for your help with that, Ann Marie.)
See? It really does take a village to keep this blog ship-shape!

My new order of plastic sleeves and plastic boxes arrived yesterday - and look at these cool new ribbons I ordered to go around the boxes. It's actually elastic copper cord - and it comes in other colors too. I like them a lot.

This is a new graduation card for an order for a friend. Notice the school colors and (school mascot) cougar paw prints?

This is another new card - for my friend's husband to give to their graduating daughter.

Isn't that bead amazing? It's a polished stone I think. I have no idea where I got it - just one of many little things I have stashed away because you just never know what you'll need, do you?
Canal Days began tonight - I just heard the end-of-the-evening fireworks. Tomorrow I'll meet MJ (glass painter extraordinaire) at 8:30 at her booth so she can show me a few things. I'll be working in her booth all day with her husband while she works at Celebration Gifts. The other two times I've worked shows with MJ, I run the cash register and she wraps the glass. It works out perfectly for both of us since I like running the register and it gives her a good chance to schmooz with the customers. She told me her husband likes to run the register so tomorrow I'll be the wrapper schmoozer. It's going to be a long day but I know I won't be as tired as I was after last year's Canal Days when I was with Village Gifts (now Celebration Gifts). There was set-up and clean-up with being on my feet all damn day in between. I remember being literally tired to the bone. (Wish we'd had the hot tub then - it certainly cures all ills!) Tomorrow will be cake compared to last year. Plus there's always Kettle Korn and cheesecake-on-a-stick to keep me going. I'll take my camera, of course.

Just an addendum - lately I've been giving the link in the notify to the specific entry. If you go to just plain ol' www.stefanitadio.com, you'll get to the main page - and that's where the monthly archives are, along with the PTD newsletter sign up and other journals I read, etc.
Love those cards, especially the heart one but I bet that is a one of kind, huh? If not, put me on order for a couple. I don't care what Gretchen says, damn you are good!
Right, Mom says damn you are good and I say HOT damn, girl, you are on FIRE!!
Love the heart-origami-ish card. Almost makes me want to be in love so I could send it to someone. Almost but not quite.
Cheese cake on a stick? Wanna see a picture of that.
The cards were for my daughter!!! The one from my husband to my daughter was special. We stepped away from the booth and gave it her right there and then. We all cried. It was a magical moment. Thank you Steffy, for making that moment the best. LOVE LOVE LOVE the graduation card. It was EXACTLY (and better) as I envisioned it. I LOVE YOUR STUFF - and you! ~ Nantz
Nantz - you all cried right in the middle of Canal Days?? You nuts! I'm glad it all worked out and you're happy with the cards.
