True Colors
Look what that crazy Ann did for me! She often takes pity on me, being PhotoShop challenged and all. I love the white! I know Gretchen and Mom will still vote for burgundy, but need possibly a darker shade than in the photo. I also think Ann is right in her comment that the house is like me. Gray, solid, stable - with a flare of a daring color. I most often wear black or khaki pants and colorful shirts too!
So I vote for white. What says you?

I like the white also.
Yes, the white really makes it pop!
Ditto! I would go with the white.
White is my favorite, but I do really like the burgundy with yellow. Why don't you paint the whole house burgundy???
And, hey! What's this about "crazy" Ann! lol
I hate to be one in the crowd, Going the way they go,
But, I'll say loud,
And give it a go:
WHITE IS RIGHT
Count me in among those who like the white trim best!
Pop schmop! I still like the burgundy, altho the blue is nice too. It doesn't pop but it goes well with the trim. Burgundy is high class. You are welcome to leftover paint from our front door, it is darker than pictured here.
It's your door...white wins.
What is it you say about "gut instincts"?
White looks unfinished to me. But you are the one that has to look at it every day.
Wish I were as clever as Ann.
In these pictures, the white looks best but I still think in real life that the burgundy would be more, well, unexpected and colorful. And you know how I like my color!
What the heck, paint it white. Live with a year, then you can paint it burgundy. It's just paint, definitely not a one shot deal!
I usually don't follow the crowd, but I say white is right too.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the burgundy. I totally HATE the green. White is nice too. But MORE color is the Steffiest thing to do!!!
I like the white, too. But what about the same blue as the trim around the door??
Oops -- clicked too soon. I meant to also say that if it were MY door, I'd want it painted red. Chinese red.
