If Only
If this was my studio, I'd have a connecting bathroom, a futon and a fridge and never, ever leave. It would be my own personal clubhouse and I'd invite all my paper-loving friends over to play.
When I replaced this template recently I decided to leave that comment verification thing off. About 10 minutes later I had comment spam on two different entries. So it stays.
What's really bugging me though is I have it set, as I always have, to have any new comments emailed to me. I've checked and rechecked that setting and my email address - it all seems right. Yet just now when I peeked at some recent entries, there were comments there I'd never seen. Here I thought nobody liked me anymore! :-) Reading comments is one of my favorite things. Bummer. I'll have to keep an eye on this.
Not much news - just glad it's Friday. This is the first full week I've worked in a month. Doesn't feel like it though - feels like I never left.

Hey, if you're making a clubhouse you'll need bunkbeds for all the sleepovers. Do we get Mouseketeer hats too?

I sent that link to my husband so he can see what I'm talking about when I say I want a real craft room, not just a cleared spot in the basement with one overhead light!
I just drooled all over my new laptop. Holy smokes! That studio is amazing. Could use a bit more color on the walls, but who's gonna quibble? I'd sure take it. Heck, just to spend one day in it would be a blast ... maybe she should charge a day rate to let us all come in and play!
I'd like that lady to come organize this office. Not enough space for all her goodies.
About the word thing. I understand you are getting spam, funny halo scan doesn't. But I hope you understand those who aren't seeing well at all now finds it frustrating to type in what they know they see only to be rejected.
I'm not suggesting you change because I have a problem. Just want you to know why no comments are forthcoming from me. :-)
Testing comments - still not receiving email notification of comments. I just changed the setting to my PTD email address to see if that makes a difference. This is frustrating!
Bonnie - I totally understand your feeling about comment verification. Those word scramble things are getting longer and more condensed all the time! My response was because even I was surprised at how quickly I received comment spam once I took the verification thing off. I was hoping I could leave it off, but alas, no.
Yes! Success! I was notified of my own comment. I feel better now - and will stop filling up my own comment section, talking to myself. :-)
That studio is AMAZING. It's in someone's HOUSE?! Good lord...I could LIVE in there...and I'm not even an 'artist'! :)
