Happy Birthday!

I was going for whimsical. It ended up busy and not at all graceful like quilling should be. Practice, practice, practice. (I joined that quilling Yahoo group and have seen lots and lots of quilling over the last few days. So far I've resisted the temptation to post any more of those examples here.)

So I tried just one balloon, using the green ivy paper I'd been saving for this special friend. Much better. (I'm sorry the card will be late, my friend. I know you understand but I still regret not getting this to you tomorrow. I hope your birthday weekend is wonderful!)
