Driftwood Horses
.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything online about these artists. I'd love to give them credit - publicity if they sell these pieces. I received these pics via email. Isn't this amazing? Such creativity to even be able to envision this possibility! The last two photographs are my very favorites.
Edited to add: My friend, She-Who-Stays-Up-Too-Late, (thank you, Ann!) found this link: Driftwood Horses - interesting reading.
Edited further to add: Driftwood Horses. Thanks Gretchen. I admit I only looked for online information briefly when I wrote this entry - I needed to scoot into work early. I appreciate the research assistance!

Wow! Reminds me of Chincoteague! (Beach ponies)
I don't stay up too late! I took a nap from 10-12 pm so I could wait for your email and do your research.
Geeze, I get no respect!
I'm going to bed!
Wow .. these are incredible.. have never seen anything like them..
thanks.. interesting read too..
These are really, really cool. They looked familiar from a recent post on Summer Pierre's blog, though, so I went back and found the link: http://www.summerpierre.com/2006/01/deborah-butterfield-on-park-avenue.html ... and it turns out these are by a different artist ... but similar idea. How creative indeed!
Beautiful!
