I don't want another betta right now. But if I did, I'd want one of these.Over the years, Steve has given me two of those Peace Lily w/Betta things for my desk at work. Then we inherited Lizz's betta when she moved to Indiana and even when she moved back to this area, he somehow stayed with us. He died a couple of weeks ago. I'm ready to be fishless for a while.

Oh, those are cool! But I'm not ready for another betta fish, either.
I don't want to sound like a PETA Nazi, but PLEASE don't encourage the morons in the florist and aquarium trade who have been told repeatedly over the past decade how inane it is to stick beautiful, air-breathing, carnivorous bettas in stagnant water without proper food and then crowd them with a rootbound spathiphyllum. Ant farms are acceptable, even the occasional goldfish swallowing contest. I'm totally supportive of cattle slaughterhouses and mink farms, too; but let's try to keep flora and fauna in appropriate containers.
