It's In the Bag
.
Oy, the cockamamie problems I have. People are buying my Sticky Notes in such quantities that I'm going to need to buy bigger bags. Go me, go me.
In the beginning of my craft show life (last year) I bought boring ol' brown Kraft bags, flat - perfect for cards, which was the bulk of my business. Time to upgrade to something with a flat bottom and a handle. I absolutely love perusing the Premier Packaging catalog. In fact I already buzzed through it this morning. I'm giddy at the choices.
I'll need to buy more of the little organza bags from them too, which I've switched from packaging my pins in to packaging my gift tags in. Those sales were up big-time. I'll show you more tomorrow because I need to get to work. This morning I slept in until . . . 6:00 am!
But I did take a minute to check last year's sales for the November show at Casa Larga - and yesterday I was up 25% over last year! That would be the good news. The bad news is I don't know how I'm going to create enough new inventory for the next round of shows. I'll do it. I just will.
Off I go to work - better start getting my head back in that game in the next 30 minutes.

Stefani, congratualtions on your craft fair life, and making more money this year. I love to see how you are doing and you offer me so much inspiration to do all this for myself. Quilling is a bit different to what you are doing and it needs some tweaking to make it as commercial as your beautiful stitched items, but I'm working on it! Well done again!

Being up 25% is very good news, indeed. Good for you!
