Hands Down

This is the center piece for a custom order. It will be similar to the 12" x 12" framed Hummingbird piece I made for Mom. My customer is deaf and loves the little hands. She also wanted some yellow in it. That part is working out nicely.

However. I only have large dragonfly buttons and can't find these little ones, online or in stores. So I bought a dragonfly punch and fiddled with making paper dragonflies last night. They are a tad too big and to adjust everything else for them to fit, well, I just wasn't feeling it. So now I'm considering tiny butterflies with beads on their wings. Still working that out. And I'll probably spend some more time online today looking for the buttons because now that I see them again, they are just perfect. Hmmmm.
