Ladybugs

.

100 ladybugs, awaiting assembly.

The body is 1-3/4" diameter.

I used to make the antennas with wire which looked nice but was way too labor intensive, and not in a good way. So this in my new ladybug. These antenna are made with a swirly daisy sort of punch. You can see in the top picture, upper right, where I punched them out of black paper. Each punch produces 7 antenna, which I cut apart and glue on the ladybug separately. (That sort of labor intensity doesn't bother me!) At one time I stuck the dots on with foam tape so they were raised but not only was that a super pain, they didn't stick as well. You can see my tiny glue bottle sitting in it's shot glass above, awaiting orders to have at it.
