Paper Cutting
.
Please check out the incredible work of Margreet from Holland. I found her on Flickr through a comment she left on my paper quilt yesterday. I looked at all 197 of her photos. This piece is (probably) my favorite. It's about 8-1/2" x 11". Margreet also has a blog filled with quilting, tulips and more, plus a blog filled with photos of The Netherlands and other places. She also just told me about her other Flickr site. She does some amazing needlework as well as papercutting. She's a busy woman!
The other thing I love about Flickr is how one artist leads to another, which is how I found MollyJey's work. I love how seemingly simple this is (it's not) - and the addition of 1 color. Molly's pieces are all about nature - just outstanding! (She has an Etsy Shop too if you're interested in a purchase.)
I love paper and I find cutting out my little pieces very soothing and relaxing. But I can't imagine doing this. Sure is fascinating.
