A Normal Sunday

.

This is a sympathy card for work people to sign today.

I recovered from my tiredness of Saturday night, thank goodness. We took Reggi for a long walk at Ellison Park. Went to Home Depot. Did 2 loads of laundry. Embellished skads of Sticky Notes. Did a couple of minor home repairs. Stuff like that. Felt good.

A note about Home Depot. I love Home Depot. Lowes is nice, love Home Depot. But that has got to be the warmest store on Earth. Steve teases me because it's a huge drafty warehouse type store, yet I start sweating the moment I step into the store! We stopped there on the way back from the park so Steve & Reggi waited in the car. I picked up the 2 things we needed and I wanted to peruse another department to see what was available for a display idea I have.

I was so hot, I couldn't stay. My coat was sticking to my arms! I could have taken it off (which is exactly what I do the second I'm in the grocery store which is almost as hot). But I just had to get out of there. I remember one time I was wearing a spring jacket in there, and I kept putting it on and taking it off to the point that I think I was embarrassing Steve. I looked around at the sickos around me yesterday, all bundled up in coat, hat & gloves, "What is wrong with you people??"

I know, I know, it's me. This too shall pass.

Come to TX where the air conditioning is left on in stores and you wouldn't be too warm. :-)

It is not you! I totally agree with you - sometimes it is so hot in our Home Depot in PA that I actually feel nauseous.
