Bead Trio
.
Gretchen gave me these beads with a gift certificate to Let's Bead! The name of the store has that exclamation point - but I would have used it anyway to note my enthusiasm for this gift. :-) I haven't even been over to the store since they expanded. I hope to rectify that shortly. I'm very happy that the store is doing so well that they needed to expand.
If you are a local reader, take a look at their long list of classes. If I had the time, I'd be inclined to take a class on chain maille. Isn't it cool?
I use these tiny seed beads for embellishing my Sticky Notes (and other projects). I notice though, that the bigger time crunch I get into, the less I take the time to bead. So my spring Sticky Notes are beaded. Fall? Not so much.
Paper, thread, beads - just another addiction. Beats heroin.

Paper, thread, beads - just another addiction. Beats heroin.Oh! Speaking of addiction - I watched my first season of Celebrity Rehab this year. I Tivoed it out of curiosity, just for a giggle and was instantly hooked. It was very moving. I was really taken with Dr. Drew Pinsky, who I'd heard of but had no exposure too. I came away with a lot of respect for him.
I still don't understand why anyone would air their problems on TV - ala Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew. But being a lover of the biographical genre, I find myself hooked whenever I watch one of these.

ha ha ha - you said "Paper, thread, beads - just another addiction. Beats heroin."
I personally think that heroin would be WAAAYYYY cheaper than the addiction of paper, thread and beads :) My basement craft room is filled with top to bottom with my addiction.
Pretty beads! I watched one episode of Celebrity Rehab, and could see myself getting hooked on it if I could remember when it was on.
We must be sisters because I agree -- those beads look downright delicious!
Paul got me started on Celebrity Rehab a month ago. We like to watch Intervention so this sorta seemed like the next step: what's rehab like. Sometimes I have to explain to Paul who these people were at the height of their stardom. If it's hard to see how far they have fallen, it must be even harder to be the fallen.
The beads are beautiful!
I love to go to Michael's and AC Moore and look at al of the beautiful baubles and beads. They always inspire me to do something crafty, even if it's jus to buy one big one to string on a choker chain.
I'm sure you'll do something much more creative though!
Some of these celebrities on Celebrity Rehab - and Dancing with the Stars - are so B level, I don't even know who they are. Couldn't possibly my hipness is decreasing as my age increases??
Because I like Celebrity Rehab so much, I recently set up a Season Pass for Intervention but I haven't watched one yet.
And next we have Sober House starting Jan 15.
Steve said he doesn't enjoy "drug shows" - which is fine with me, so I can watch The Cleaner all by myself. Benjamin Bratt is another of my TV Boyfriends. Dayam, he's gorgeous!
mmmm, beads. don't even get me started!!
