Sorry for the reason, but this is just stunning! Do you make up your own designs, or can someone like lil' ole me get my grubby hands on a beginner design somewhere?

Leslie - I started with designs by Erica Fortgens in her books I bought on Amazon. Her website is here but you can Google her name and find other places that carry her books too so you don't have to buy from her Netherlands site.
Sites like Dandee Images and Ecstasy Crafts will blow your mind with other types of paper crafts, some of which you maybe haven't heard of yet.
I do create my own designs now and anything I sell is my own original design. But this card for Frank's family - and this card from the other day, are Erica's designs. I have drawers of pieces I stitched a few years ago that I use for giving away, not selling. As those are gone though, everything I stitch will be my original designs.
