My Turn Around Day

.

I stopped on my way to work yesterday to pick up the correct Mucinex and gave it 2 hours to start working. Nada. So I came home. I took 2-hour nap, which was good deep sleep, but I was hoping for much longer.

My nose seems to have calmed down this morning but I'm soooo tired. I've declared this my Turn Around Day and feel certain I'll go to work tomorrow. I haven't taken a sick day since 2007 and it's ridiculous how I agonize over taking one. It must be because the days come from a common pool of Paid Time Off days which can be used in any way. So less sick days = more vacation days. But I know that if I'm even considering calling in sick, then I must be sick. And what really clinches it is I look at myself as if I was someone else. If I had a co-worker looking and sounding like I sounded, I'd suggest they get their germy ass home.

So it's back to bed shortly. Reggi & Verona will be happy.

I wonder if she has asked Angelina Jolie for help? She seems to be trying to impersonate her altho she claims otherwise. My sympathy for all those children, now and years later. I wonder if someone donated her French manicure?

I hope you get well soon, need some chicken soup?

This made my day and I started a rant post about it. I refuse to link to her site so she can suck up other peoples money instead of being responsible.

I'm curious - what is the correct Mucinex? I hope you feel better soon!

I worry about all 14 children too, Mom - just like you said, now and as they grow up.

I'm not worried about linking to her site because I think people feel so strongly, one way or the other, that either they will have already found a way to donate - or wouldn't dream of it.

Stephanie - We already had the expectorant kind of Mucinex in the house that Steve used last week because his cold was more cough-related. My symptoms were more nasal-related so I bought the kind that helps that. I think they make about 5 different varieties plus kids versions too.

I've noticed most people are pretty loyal to their particular brand - Simon likes Airborne, Steve usually likes Alka-Seltzer Plus (Day and also Night) and I used to love me some Nyquil, until I found Mucinex.
