Handmade Books
(*Made in class at Stamps to Di For, Linda Reese, Instructor.)

This has accordian sides and in each section is a tag.
This could be used to give gift certificates, nice quotes, etc. *

This is a book made of one long piece of card stock for the cover, folded back on itself.
The pages are stitched into the cover. *

I've made a number of these hard cover books. It holds a 4" x 6" pad of paper.
The spine is suede and the inside has a suede pocket for holding notes or coupons, etc. *

This is called a slide tassel book because that hard-to-see black tassel is what holds it shut. *
I've made a number of these little books. I make them for people leaving the company, or as a sympathy card because people like to write a little paragraph, rather than just a few words.

This is a split cover book, so called because the front cover folds back.
I like the simplicity of this book and the neat way the pages are sewn in. *

This is a little triangle book. The pages consist of one long strip between 2 covers, tied together with a ribbon. *

This is the book I made for our parents 50th wedding anniversary.

Gretchen collected essays written by us and by our extended family. I embellished the pages with rubber stamp art.
