The heart upon the white square is one folded piece of paper. It's layered a couple of time on co-ordinating paper.

The vellum envelope allows the card to be seen.

 

This is a pocket card, made out of an 8-1/2" x 11" piece of paper, with two smaller pockets inside.

I made about 50 of these a few years ago when I was participating in a cross-stitch birthday card exchange. *

 

 

The triangles open up to reveal the message.

 

This design is tea bag folding, made with tiny squares of paper. The background papers are actually navy blue, though they look a bit darker here.
