Quilt Cards
They are usually repetitive designs that remind us of quilts.
(*Made in class at Stamps to Di For, Linda Reese, Instructor.)
These first three cards represent the first quilt style card I learned to make. One simple square stamp is used and the "blocks" are layered, some with double stick tape, some with foam tape for depth. Some of the squares are cut on the diagonal for added interest. *

This is one of my all time favorite cards - I've made lots of these. Here are two cards in different colors. I have also made it in red, white and blue. And I made a bunch last Valentine's Day in red and white. *

These two cards were made in the same class. Each one uses one stamp, that is stamped multiple times. Different sections are cut out of each layer so you get this very stacked effect. *

This card is another of my favorites and I've made quite a few of these too. These are made of stamped strips, woven together. The paper for the first card was made by brayering a rainbow pad onto glossy white paper, then stamping in black Crafter's ink with 3 different rectangular stamps. The next card is constructed the same, only it was embossed with gold. *

This card was made with just two stamps. The paper was created using a Rainbow Ink and Sponge Kit. When I made this card I thought the colors turned out kinda ugly but I liked it when layered with the lime green and navy. You never know! *

This was made with 2 stamps and layered with foam tape. *

This one was made with one stamp. The possibilities are endless. *

This leaf design was stamped three times on different paper and embossed with copper. Each leaf was cut in half and mixed and matched. *

I guess I like this copper/rust/green combination, eh? *

These are among the most recent cards I made.
