Sunday, January 11, 2004 The Valentine's Day cards page is up! Check it out! Buy lots! Buy often!
I made a few more designs than I'm selling on that page. They are designs I wasn't totally thrilled with so I'll use them as filler for Village Gifts.
I painted a box lid red and lined it with blue suede paper for the heart pins display. The 24 cards on the right are all packaged, priced and ready to go. So now I'll go to the store to take down those yesterday's news Christmas Cards and fill up the racks with Valentine's Day cards. I had hoped to have some more birthday, anniversary, get well and thank you cards done but I'll start on those this afternoon. No rest for the weary.
Oh! I didn't tell you. I've arranged my work hours so that I still work 40 hours but leave at 1:00 on Wednesdays. That will give me hours of uninterrupted time to do Pine Tree Designs work. No laundry, no surfing, just PTD work. I'm going to try it for a month and make sure it works for everyone - starting this week. I'm very happy about this. This afternoon I'll send out an email to the PTD mailing list announcing the Valentine's Day cards. Then . . . let the anxiety begin! It always works out fine but it's traditionally at this part of the process that I start to freak out, just a little bit.

Jonathan has been a moderator and frequent poster on the Simple Living forums, which I've mentioned frequently as a wonderful source of information and inspiration. It's pretty cool to type the name of someone you "know" in the Amazon search box! (The same was true for fellow journalist Fred Anderson's From Chunk to Hunk book.)
