Dad sent me this link. I think it's hilarious and very well done.
Then there's this.
I wish Steve would ask me what I want for Valentine's Day or my birthday. I'd tell him (in no particular order): an adult female cat from Lollypop Farm or tickets to see Jesus Christ Superstar. I was going to say it's funny that I have things in mind that I want, because I rarely do that. But remember last year? I really wanted those Bruce Springsteen tickets! That's a birthday that will be hard to top. Steve is perfectly happy with one dog and one cat. I ask him periodically if he still feels the same way and he does. Simon and I would love another dog, but I figure a cat might be more likely to happen because they are lower maintenance. I drop off our newspapers at Lollypop from time to time but today I stopped in just because, and there were only about a dozen dogs or so. That's way less than they usually have. Weird in a good way. Man, every single dog looks you right in the eyes when you walk by. Every single cat sleeps with it's back to the front of the cage. Seems about right.
The pewter-like letters arrived Thursday so I made 10 more cards and took most of them to Village Gifts today.
Other than that I've been getting caught up on paperwork, balancing accounts, ran a few errands. Tomorrow is my don't-leave-the-house-day. Oh wait, my family is all meeting for breakfast tomorrow morning. Then it's my don't-leave-the-house-day.
Dinner: Vegan Fettucine Alfredo Reading: Live Simply in the City, by Jonathan Allan & Lynne Cantwell Listening to in the car: ...And Never Let Her Go, by Ann Rule. (I put this on hold for a few days while I listen to the two-tape selection: Smart Women Finish Rich, by David Bach.)
