Today is the day I figured out that my three day headache may have started as a caffeine withdrawal headache on Saturday but the Sunday and Monday versions were strictly stress-induced. That always sneaks up on me because I'm generally not a very stressed person. I had 3 worries that I was able to identify. Once I did that I took action in two ways.

First I emailed my massage therapist for an appointment this week! Mom gave me a gift certificate for Christmas that is just calling out to be used.

Secondly, I made a plan of action on all three items. Bingo - headache gone. Seriously. One problem is totally resolved and I've taken definite steps on the others. Nothing serious, so I won't bore you with the details. What a difference a plan makes.

I'm going to spend some time reading journals tonight so I'll leave you with a few new cards.

These are two cards I made to fit in with our Americana themed sale at Village Gifts this week, in conjunction with President's Day or Week or whatever we're calling it these days. I call it "another freakin' week these kids don't have school".

This is the Valentine's Day card I made for Gretchen to give to a certain someone. I think this is outstanding, if I do say so myself! I've told you I'm all about purple these days. I bought a package of 5 shades of purple, 5 sheets each and have been dying to use them. The white frame is layered and the heart is double layered so it's nice and dimensional.

Shannon asked in yesterday's comments if I could expound on why I'm heading in a resale direction in addition to my handmade cards. I'll answer that in my next entry because it's almost beddy-bye time and I'm done thinking for the night.

Goodnight!

Dinner: Lizz and her boyfriend Erick joined us for dinner tonight. We had Vegan Fettuccini Alfredo, broccoli and Garlic Italian Rolls. Simon actually made the bread, meaning he put the ingredients in the bread machine. I got to do the kneading and forming of the little rolls when I got home. My evil plan was two-fold - I knew it would be nice to have the bread tonight and I wanted to teach him to do it. He really likes cooking so I would not be surprised if he makes bread on his own sometime. We had Chocolate Goodness for dessert, a new vegan recipe I wanted try - just based on the name. It was basically chocolate cake but it was very good, dense and moist. I sort of forget how good homemade cake can be, since we've been eating that cake mix cake I made for Valentine's Day.
