Here are some Very Different Cakes.

And now for something completely different

While I'm plugging other journals, I got caught up with Pioneer Woman with a Cell Phone the other day. I sort of lost track when she was writing about the art of writing so I'd forgotten how much I enjoy her journal. I always feel happy after reading her entries, like I've visited with a nice friend I've known for a long time. And I don't just say that because she's been on an organizing kick lately, or because she recently painted her kitchen.

Also, check out Shannon's Pysanky eggs (Scroll down to April 7th and 10th.) She has amazing talent and energy, let me tell you. And check out her new puppy, a St. Bernard!

We received our first 3 Netflix DVDs today, one day earlier than promised. So far so good.

Except well, the first DVD, The Sopranos Season 2, Disc 3, was cracked and unusable.

Try DVD #2 - Seabiscuit. Oops, this is the original Shirley Temple Seabiscuit, not the recent one. Steve said he never even thought to check when ordering it.

DVD #3 - The Sopranos Season 2, Disc 4. Works wonderfully. Except it turns out we have seen all of Season 2 and didn't need either of these DVDs.

So I'm returning all 3 in the morning - and have put the 4 DVDs of Season 3 first in the queue. That is, after I verified on the HBO/Sopranos website that we are indeed ready for Season 3.

Just a bump in the road. I still love this program.

DinnerSpaghetti leftovers.
